Challenge
Create a refined hospitality space with a strong visual identity while keeping the counter durable, hygienic and practical for intensive coffee and bar service.
Solution
The design combines oak-effect Vert + Hive counter fronts, HPL worktops, a micaceous-metal plinth, a bespoke suspended bottle bridge and coordinated lounge furniture. Green planting and purple upholstery give the venue a recognisable customer-facing identity.
Result
A cohesive venue where service infrastructure, product display and lounge atmosphere read as one concept, giving La Plaza a distinctive setting for daytime coffee and evening hospitality.

The venue

La Plaza is a contemporary cafe and lounge bar in the heart of Gravina in Puglia. Its atmosphere combines a planted feature wall, oak-effect counter fronts, suspended bottle display and handcrafted purple lounge seating for coffee, aperitivo and evening service.
A counter built around real service
The working side brings coffee equipment, refrigerated display, storage and preparation surfaces into a compact line. Durable HPL worktops and integrated equipment support frequent cleaning and intensive daily use.
A venue customers remember
The planted logo wall, suspended bottle bridge and purple velvet seating turn practical hospitality furniture into a recognisable atmosphere. The project gives La Plaza a clear identity from the entrance through to the lounge area.
Custom details connect the room
Oak-effect slats, micaceous metal, black framing, greenery and tailored upholstery repeat across the space. These details connect the service counter and customer seating without making the venue feel over-designed.
